We are a husband and wife duo - Marisa & Brendan - with a passion for creating beautiful moments for life's biggest celebrations!
who we are
Marisa is the vision & creative behind Set The Scene with a 10+ year history of working in events. Brendan is a carpenter and the executer & builder for our custom items.
Where we started
We were planning our own wedding for May 2025 and came up with an idea to have an audio guestbook instead of a traditional guestbook. We wanted to have audio messages from our loved ones to listen to in the future. The idea grew into building a phone booth to put the phone in to make a more impactful experience for our guests. Then we thought "What if other couples would want this for their wedding day?" This became our first rental item and our inventory grew as we identified items that were not as available in the Treasure Valley.
Where We're Going
We now have a variety of rental items that we offer. We also create custom signage and install balloon decor & backdrops. We look forward to continuing to grow our business. We strive to make your event experience as low stress & enjoyable as possible!
